New York Fashion Week FW 2011-2012: Michael Kors

Una delle collezioni più belle viste sfilare fino ad ora. Una sola parola può descrivere il complesso delle creazioni nate da Michael Kors: eleganza. Il taglio degli abiti è molto semplice, ma i dettagli sono perfettamente curati, nulla è fuori posto, regna l'equilibrio del "giusto mezzo". La vita è messa in rilievo da sottili cinture, la gamba dei pantaloni si allarga e si ammorbidisce, caldi golf avvolgono il corpo. Abiti e tute scivolano sulle forme e le mettono in evidenza. Ampie scollature sul decollete si alternano a spacchi laterali sulle gonne, che sottolineano ed evidenziano la sensualità delle gambe. In questo quadro non mancano cappe e pellicce per affrontare il freddo inverno e ritroviamo anche quelle trasparenze sugli abiti che sono un vero trend quest'anno.

One of the best collections seen on the catwalks unitl now. One word can describe all the creations born from Michael Kors: elegance. The cut of the clothes is very simple, but the details are well cared for, nothing is out of place, the balance reigns. The waist is highlighted by thin belts, the trouser leg widens and becomes soft, warm golf embrace the body. Dresses and suits slip on the forms and bring them into evidence. Large decollete necklines alternate with side slits on skirts, which highlight and emphasize the sensuality of the legs. In this context there are capes and furs to face the cold winter and we also find that transparency on the clothes that are a real trend this year.

New York Fashion Week FW 2011-2012: Jenny Packham

Jenny Packham ha presentato la collezione Autunno-Inverno 2011-2012 la scorsa settimana durante la fashion week di New York e sicuramente non ci ha deluse. Ha giocato molto con inserti metallici, paillettes e tessuti laminati, che donano luce e vita ai capi rendendoli perfetti per la sera, ma anche con le trasparenze che li rendono molto sensuali. Molti gli abiti monospalla o dalle scollature profonde principalmente nei toni basici del nero, argento, oro e nude, che però vengono mixati creando motivi e sfumature molto particolari.

Jenny Packham presented her Fall / Winter 2011-2012 collection last week during the New York fashion week  and certainly did not disappoint. She played a lot with metal inserts, laminated fabrics and paillettes, giving light and life to the garments and make them perfect for the evening, but also with the transparencies which make them very sensual. Many shoulder dresses or plunging necklines mainly in the basic tones of black, silver, gold and nude, but they are mixed, creating very special patterns and nuances.

IT: Ecco le collezioni di questa Fashion Week di New York che mi hanno particolarmente affascinato. Molti giovani, molti emergenti, che amano sperimentare e proporre cose nuove, ma che tengono i piedi per terra e propongono abiti moderni, ma assolutamente vestibili.

Christian Siriano gioca con le tonalità del grigio su pezzi semplici ed eleganti, alza la vita dei pantaloni e li rende morbidi e mantiene la sobrietà negli abiti, che però impreziosisce conferendogli luminosità.

Koverk Kiledjian usa la pelle a suo piacimento su gonne, abiti e pantaloni, la taglia e ne fa delle frange che arricchiscono il tutto, accostandola a camicette e maglie trasparenti. 

Rebecca Minkoff propone capi che rispecchiano i trend in modo molto adattabile a tutti, abiti stretch e lunghi cardigan, trench e gacchetti di pelle, ma anche gonne lunghe e golf abbondanti.

Sally Lapointe invece vede una donna "cyborg" sia nelle forme, che nei colori, che anche nei tessuti laminati e argentati, una donna che potremmo dire pronta a sorvolare lo spazio, ma con gran stile.

La collezione The Row stupisce ancora con tagli particolari e molto ben rifiniti, ma allo stesso tempo sobri e per nulla esagerati, perfetti nello stile e nei colori.

Infine Theyskens' Theory, che ho davvero apprezzato. Gonne e cappotti che arrivano ai piedi e accompagnano la gamba, abbinati a golf tricot caldi e avvolgenti, ma anche shorts e pantaloni dal taglio maschile, veli e trasparenze, insomma tutto ciò che si avvicina ai trend, ma va anche un pò oltre.

Christian Siriano plays with shades of gray on simple and elegant pieces, lift the lives of the pants and makes them soft and maintain sobriety in dress, but giving it enhances brightness.

Koverk Kiledjian uses the leather at will on skirts, dresses and pants, cuts it and makes it in fringes that enrich the whole, combining it to transparent blouses and sweaters.

Rebecca Minkoff offers clothing that reflect the trend in a very adaptable way to all, stretch dresses, long cardigans, trenchand leather coats, but also long skirts and golf abundant.

Sally Lapointe sees a woman instead of "cyborg" in forms, colors, even in tissues laminates and silver, a woman who could be ready to fly the space, but with great style.

The collection The Row still amazes with special cuts and very well finished, but at the same time sober and not at all exaggerated, perfect style and colors.

Finally Theyskens' Theory, which I really appreciated. Skirts and coats that reach the foot and accompany the legs, combined with golf tricot warm and enveloping, but also cut men's shorts and pants, veils, and transparency, in short, everything that comes close to trend, but it also goes a bit further.
